Dear Friends of SANA,

Thanks to your generosity, 2022 was a great year for our programs. In 2023, we will be providing even more assistance for the people in Santa Maria.

SANA Healthcare Clinic

In 2022, we provided care for 6,333 patients bringing our total since opening the clinic in late 2011 to 57,560 patient care visits!

We have 2 new physicians starting this month, including an ob-gyn.

SANA Education

Our education annex is finished and preschool classes for 120 children started on February 13.

Scholarships

This is a new program for SANA. The Guatemalan government only provides education for the rural children through the 6^thgrade. If the child wants to receive more education, he/she must pay. The cost is $400 a year but this is cost-prohibitive for most parents. The children end up working in the fields or in the market with their parents. SANA is providing 32 scholarships this year for children to enroll in the 7^th and 8^thgrade.

If you would like to provide a scholarship for these children please donate today.

For $400, we will provide a child with an education and provide you with updates and photos.
